Astrophysics is incredible as a topic, but some consider it to be not that accessible. Neil DeGrasse Tyson achieves to make this book very interesting. It includes answers to many questions related to the cosmos. At the same time, you get to understand the science behind things like quantum mechanics, black holes and so on! It is one of the best nerdy books out there.  (Even though a bit bored me out at times, but packed with good information on the subject).

Answering hypothetical questions can help you get the answer to many things in life. This is one of the few nerdy books out there that help you better understand physics concepts via answering this sort of questions (sometimes ridiculous. E.g. what happens with the person if his or her DNA suddenly disappears?)  It’s also full of great scientific (and hilarious) answers. That alone gives you an incredible way to expand your knowledge. Seriously. Get this book.
